Dot Your Eye

This blog is freaking hilarious. Whoever has this amount of time to know that much about the volleyball world is a bigger dork than all four of us for our blogging that we do. From now on, if there is a place I want to go to find out what is happening in the volleyball world, I will go here. It's pretty hilarious.

Who Else?

I don't know who this person is that created this blog but they have a very thorough knowledge of things....strange. It is an interesting blog dedicated to NCAA volleyball and all it's stupidity I guess. Who knows. Apparently this person had enough time in their day to comment about me. Who else?

I, however, am setting out the first BLOG EDICT: The only images on this blog must, in some way, have been manipulated in Microsoft Paint.

This is Hilarious

This guy is awesome! YouTube rocks!

THESE GUYS

It has been a good last couple of weeks for the Table. Suede and myself have found ourselves drawn together by fate as it seems on two occasions. A couple of weeks ago he was in town to play South Carolina and now he will be traveling even closer to Clemson University. This is awesome because the Icemaster only lives 45 minutes away and half the Table will be able to partake in some Natural Light and the accustomed jackassery that seems to come free with every case. I'm sure that if you listen closely you might be able to smell the faintest hint of Old Spice and Jaeger, and if you listened closely you might hear Journey somewhere in the background, and if you are one of the lucky few who happen to be standing somewhere between South Carolina and Nebraska and are looking into a can of Natural Light, then you might be able to see into the future.
This does not happen often and the United States government is looking into this strange phenomenon, because they are trying to harness this power. Also, they have inside information that something of biblical proportions could be occuring sometime around December in the city of Lincoln, Nebraska. They have heard that there could be the arrival of two men that, if they are reunited with their brethren could bring about the end of the world. 40 years of darkness, fire and brimstone falling from the sky, the dead rising from the grave...wait a minute that's the ghostbusters. My bad. ROLL TIDE!!!!!

coaches?

Suede!!!

Congrats on making the tourney. I guess making Liz cry this summer wasn't as detrimental to the season as I had thought.

By Saturday morning, you and Billy will have both kicked Clemson's ass.

OMG!!!

Hyland Christmas gifts were announced today... What is better than a 50" plasma? Playing ROCK BAND on a 50" plasma on the XBOX 360!!!

Its a good thing that Suede and Ice will be in town for the holidays. Although I have a feeling they may not leave my couch.

What does all of this mean?
I'm getting a 360 from Hyland, and once I have acquired such 360, Rock Band will be soon to follow.

Headed west!

I'm not sure how my internet access will be, but I just wanted to wish everyone a happy Turkey Day. If you are coming back to Lincoln, sorry I won't be here to greet you. Take it easy, and good luck with any volleyball being played in the next week.

I'll be back in town the 25th, but hopefully I will be able to jump on the tubes once or twice before then.

SoCon Tournament

Well, we are off to the Southern Conference Tournament today. I hope that we do well. The girls have been working hard this week and we have had some good practices. It's strange to actually see the end result of so many months of training. Our girls have undergone a massive transformation in their training but they have accepted it and are playing some of the best volleyball this program has ever seen. It's strange to already be at the end of my first season as an actual coach. It's even more strange that we are fighting to even win a conference championship. I'm so proud of all the things our girls have been able to do this year, and it will be great if we can win the conference. Who knows what will happen? I guess that's why we play the game.

Can't spell SUCKS without KSU.

Just in case you can't see it, the score says HUSKERS - 73, WILDCATS - 31. And the little print on the right hand side says we have over 700 total yards.

Nice job Ron Prince. Oh yeah, don't forget your power towel.

How Awesome are the Steelers?

Tough Test in Tuscaloosa

We had a marathon match with Ole Miss last night. It only went four but it was hella-long. Game two went 42-40...and I'm spent. The shoe/sock/belt combination I was wearing was 11-0 up to that point. Now that combination sucks...I'll have to find a new rally cap clothing situation...I'm not superstitious.
St. Paul's volleyball team is up two games to zero in their first ever state tournament appearance. Matt Koehn is kicking butt in Lincoln.
...this blog is not gay...you're a towel

How I miss the Spoon

Things are going well out here in the SC. We are closing down the season and I think we might make it to the NCAA tournament, but we will have to work pretty damn hard to get there. I'm doing well out here but there are a lot of times I wish that I was back at the Spoon with the Jackasses I call my brothers. You guys know me, and I'm not afraid to make friends (especially of the female variety) but nothing will be like the times I had with the Table...but there is always light amidst the darkest places.

Suede and myself will be returning to the homeland here in a couple weeks and the stars will align signaling the coming of the Four Horsemen and the end of the worl.....wait a minute, that's a totally different story altogether. It will be good to get back home and see everyone again because you guys are part of what I miss so much. So get prepared because I have a lot tension to be released when I get home and dammit will Max stay in the state when I get back. I havn't seen him since who the hell knows. Hope you guys are all doing awesome and I will be seeing you soon.

Suede redux!

spooner land

so much is happening in lincoln right now it's difficult to put it all down on the webonets. football team is a mess, and the 'skur vb team seems to be struggling right now. it will be interesting to see if / how they put it together going into the ncaa tournament.

high school season has hit the last week and the thunderbolts have qualified for state for the 13th straight year. this will be my first experience coaching in the state tournament, and i'm pretty pumped to see how this goes. max and i have friday off, so we will probably hit up a local booze house after league on thursday night.

oh, and the 50" plasma is wicked sweet too...

I can see infinity.

What's better than sitting six feet from a T.V. at the Spoon?

Sitting six feet from a 50" T.V. at the Spoon.

It is glorious.

Doctor's hours.

What up duders. I put in twenty hours this weekend shooting a video teaching doctors what to do if a high school were to explode. I lost my weekend, but the nice thing is I'm only working about four hours a day the rest of the week.

Except Friday, which I'm simply taking off to go watch Dee coach Pius X to a State Championship! Woo woo! Go Bolts!

hi guy

hey dudes.

Halloween

For the second year in a row, the Table was not together on Halloween. My night consisted of a beginning drawing class, and TiVo'd episodes of House and Grey's Anatomy.

On Friday the Lincoln's YPG had their first (annual?) Halloween Party. The marketing committee attended as Prohibition-era mobsters. It was pretty rad.

Saturday night Truth dusted off his Stantz jumpsuit, and I rocked the v-neck undershirt and bathrobe as The Dude.

That about sums up All Hollow's Eve in Lincoln. Anything exciting in Greenville or Tuscabama?
