Well Suede beat me to the blog-o-nets but it is true..Furman is finally going to the NCAA tournament!! This is the first time Furman Volleyball has made it to the big show. It was an amazing four days at our conference tournament and none of our matches were boring. All of them went five and the last two were complete upsets. It was an amazing experience for me and I have to admit that it rivals our experience with the National Championship team of 2006. I am very proud of our team and cannot wait to celebrate this year's accomplishments with everyone back home! Let us not forget the Professor's great State Championship with the Pius X ThunderBolts.
As a side note, all state outside hitter Natalie Braun will be wearing a Furman jersey next season and we cannot wait to get her here.
Boys it has been an amazing ride so far and I cannot wait to see what happens next.

Congrats to the both of you! We will have to celebrate in style when you get back to the "Good Life". I hope all you have a great Thanksgiving, where ever you may/may not be traveling. See you all very soon!
